Simply Cats

I’m Lucia (Loo-CHEE-uh). My name means “light bearer” or “light bringer.” I’ve certainly lived up to it here in my time at the shelter. I’m a brown tabby with long soft fur, so there may be some Maine Coon in my family tree. I look kind of like a dandelion puff with little cat feet. I’m as gentle as a dandelion puff, too. You can pick me up and snuggle me and move my limbs around and I’ll just purr and look at you adoringly. I will live up to my name and bring light into your home, given the chance.

My name is Saskia. I am named after a book character who was a young woman who was searching for a place she truly belonged. That fits me perfectly. My mother was a stray, and I have lived my whole life so far in foster homes and this shelter. I am a playful kitty and I am very ready to break free from this life I’ve been living without a real permanent place, and go to a home where I will be loved and cared for forever. Will you be the one to give me that chance?

My name is Emmett! I’m not actually from Emmett...I was found in the Avis car rental parking lot. Can you believe someone dumped me there? They call me Emmett because they took me to the vet there right after I was brought to Simply Cats on account of a very sore bottom. How embarrassing. I’m quite over the indignity of that incident (you hear that staff? Quit making fun!), and am ready to move on with my life. I’m a happy little fellow who loves to play be pet. Are you going to be the one to take me home?

I'm Lola! L-O-L-A, Lola! Though I don't like to drink champagne or cherry cola, I'm still a pretty hip kitty. I like people, but I'm not the most confident kitten in the room. I take a little while to warm up for most people, but then I turn into a real cuddle-muffin. I'm also one of the fluffiest kittens ever to grace Simply Cats with my presence. It might be a mixed up, muddle up world, but I can't wait to meet someone who will snuggle me all night by electric candlelight. Could that someone be you?

Hi! My name's Jo. I came to Simply Cats with my brothers, Eenie, Meeni, Mynee, and Mo. I'm the only girl in the litter, so you know I can hold my own. I'm a little shy, but like any kitten I warm right up with a little patience and attention.
