Simply Cats

Hi, My name’s Lily Belle, but you can just call me Lily if you want. Some really nice people found me as a stray when I was pregnant, and took care of me and my babies until the babies were old enough to come here to Simply Cats. Now my babies are up for adoption, and so am I! I love people but I can be a bit reserved at first. If you’re patient though, I’ll make a great companion.

Look at my beautiful fur. I take good care of myself. I had to learn to, because for a long time I was a feral. About six months ago, a really nice guy brought me here so that Simply Cats could help me get back on my feet. I’m still not quite used to humans, but you can see that I want to trust you when you look into my piercing green eyes. If you give me patience and time, I will be the best friend you’ve ever had, I promise.

Hi! My name is Gwen, and I'm a petite little thing. I was brought into Simply Cats because my owner was no longer able to care for me. I miss my old home. It's taken me a little while to settle into the shelter, but I'm trying my best. I might not volunteer to come right up to you, but I'm easily coaxed from my hiding place. Once I'm out, I absolutely adore having my head and back scratched. I roll around all over the lap of just about anyone willing to give me a little attention. The shelter is great, but I'm desperately wishing for to go to a real home, soon.

I share a name with a famous conductor, composer, and writer. Like my namesake, I am a very special cat. Twice I have had my worldview shaken, and twice I have recovered. Even though I’m only three years old, my story could take a while to tell. I’ve already been adopted once from Simply Cats, but my new owners locked me outside to fend for myself. Simply Cats took me back and worked with me to help me trust people again. Like many cats, I take a little while to warm up to a person. Once I do, though, I like being pet and played with. I especially love wand toys. What a blast!
