Simply Cats

Hello, my name is My Girl. I came to Simply Cats after a nice lady found me outside of her apartment and took care of me for as long as she could. I was terribly matted when I came into the shelter, so the staff here had to shave all of the mats off—that’s why my hair looks so funny, but it doesn’t bother me. It sure did make my skin feel better. Now, I’m hoping that I can find someone who will care for me the way a cat deserves to be cared for. No more outside living—that’s the dream!

I share a name with a famous conductor, composer, and writer. Like my namesake, I am a very special cat. Twice I have had my worldview shaken, and twice I have recovered. Even though I’m only three years old, my story could take a while to tell. I’ve already been adopted once from Simply Cats, but my new owners locked me outside to fend for myself. Simply Cats took me back and worked with me to help me trust people again. Like many cats, I take a little while to warm up to a person. Once I do, though, I like being pet and played with. I especially love wand toys. What a blast!

I came here because the humans I lived with developed allergies. Before that, I had come to them as a stray. I would love a forever home. As you can see, I don’t have a tail and I think that makes me stand out from the other orange kitties here. Get to know me and you will learn to love me like they do here at Simply Cats.
