Spring Yard Sale a Success
The Simply Cats' Spring Yard Sale was a great success, raising over $3,000 to help support the cats currently residing at the Simply Cats Adoption Center.
Thank you to all who helped make it possible with your donations of goods and to our volunteers who worked so hard to make this happen.
Tickets Fore Charity
Simply Cats is pleased to announce our participation in the Sara Lee Tickets Fore Charity program at the Albertsons Boise Open golf tournament, to be held September 8-14 at Hillcrest Country Club. When you purchase tickets online at www.albertsonsboiseopen.com or by order form through the mail and you designate Simply Cats as your charity, we will receive 100% of the proceeds of the ticket sales by the 15th of the following month, allowing us to put the funds to work now.
Farewell To Boomer
The Adoption Center is still. It has been a week since Boomer walked across the Rainbow Bridge to his eternal home, free of the cancer that took him from us, yet I feel his presence all around me and I take comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to watch over us.
Stolen Cat
On Thursday afternoon, after business hours, a woman and her daughter came into the shelter and asked staff if they could view the cats. They only stayed for a few minutes. After these people left, staff noticed that a kitten was missing from the kitten room and the door to the kitten room had been locked.
We are sorry to say that one of our kittens, Mugsy has been stolen.
